Evidence: "I ordered the bookseller at Harrow to send Papa a vol. of Dr V[aughan]'s sermons. He will enclose a memorandum of the price. The series which I chose is I think the best as the newest." There were two versions of Dr. Vaughan's sermons published by the time of JAS's letter. The 1853 version is the newest, which JAS references.
